Ashley DeGarmo

Ashley DeGarmo is Chief Client Officer at Third Horizon, where she oversees the operations and strategy of the firm’s consulting practice. Ashley uses her professional and direct practice experience to ensure that Third Horizon provides exceptional experiences for all clients. Ashley values creating an inclusive, open environment that allows clients and internal team members to thrive.

Ashley brings 15 years of experience in health care consulting and operations across the public, nonprofit, and private sectors. She previously held positions with AVIA, Mercer, and CVS Caremark. Over her tenure at Third Horizon, she has led the development of strategies to implement and operationalize alternative payment models for behavioral health treatment and recovery services, serving clients ranging from state Medicaid agencies to community-based organizations. She has supported a variety of clients in achieving their goals through strategic planning, market research, and data and financial analysis. Ashley has her license in social work and has direct practice experience in a hospital and emergency room, as well as in discharge planning.

Ashley earned a Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
