Josh Graham

Josh Graham is an Associate at Third Horizon, where he supports advisory engagements through market and competitive research, financial analysis, and data analytics. His work helps clients evaluate opportunities, test investment decisions, and set strategy, and he contributes to the research, writing, and materials that carry those findings to boards, investors, and executive teams.

Josh brings experience across health care consulting, private equity, and state government. His expertise includes market and competitive benchmarking, financial and SWOT analysis, due diligence, data analytics, and project management, and he is fluent in Spanish. At Third Horizon, he has built a financial and competitive profile of a regional insurance provider to inform a board's invest-or-sell decision, conducted market benchmarking to shape the investment strategy for a hospital point-of-sale system, developed the firm's pitch materials for its price transparency offering, and produced competitive intelligence on artificial intelligence and its implications for health care consulting.

Prior to rejoining Third Horizon, Josh served as an Analyst in the Office of Professional Licensure Review at the Utah Department of Commerce, where he co-authored the department's first reports on scarification and body piercing, assessing prevalence, identifying harm factors, and reviewing state and county law to inform legislative policy. Earlier, as a mid-market private equity deal team intern at Leavitt Equity Partners, he reviewed more than 40 investment opportunities and delivered diligence memos to the deal team, analyzed Medicaid reimbursement trends and their projected impact on portfolio companies, built a comparison model of trading multiples across $180 million in portfolio assets, and led a market landscape analysis of remote patient monitoring to guide deal sourcing.

Josh earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
